Paul is a Partner of Portage Capital Corporation and has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry in both debt and equity investments across all asset classes. Prior to joining Portage, Paul was a partner of Timbercreek Asset Management, and held various positions at Fortress Investment Group, General Electric Capital, and Credit Suisse First Boston. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and is registered as a Mortgage Agent in Ontario.

Andrew is a Partner of Portage Capital Corporation and has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to starting Portage Capital, Andrew was a partner of Timbercreek Asset Management and the CEO of Timbercreek Financial – one of Canada’s largest publicly traded Mortgage Investment Corporations. Andrew is a graduate of the Vancouver School of Economics at UBC and is registered as a Mortgage Broker in Ontario and B.C.

Bryan is a Partner at Portage Capital, where he focuses on accelerating growth across Canada in the mortgage business in the areas of conventional term, bridge, high yield, mezzanine, and CMHC insured financing. Bryan brings over 15 years of experience in real estate, private equity, banking, and commercial debt. Prior to joining Portage Capital, he served as the Managing Director at KingSett Capital, where he led the mortgage underwriting and funding team within the greater debt platform.  This included construction, term, bridge, mezzanine, and CMHC insured loans. His responsibilities encompassed credit, investor relations, capital raising, capital markets, and fund management. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Certificate in Business Spanish from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madrid.

Tina is the Director, Funding and Administration at Portage Capital Corporation and has been working in the commercial mortgage finance business for over 15 years. Tina has held various senior positions at two of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders where she had senior roles in funding, administration and credit. Tina holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration from York University and is registered as a Mortgage Agent in Ontario.

Jonathan is an Associate, Investments at Portage Capital Corporation and has been working in the financial institutions and real estate industry for over 2 years. Prior to joining Portage Capital, Jonathan was a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada. Jonathan is a graduate of Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto.

Julie Neault is the Managing Director, Investments and has over 25 years of experience in the commercial debt and commercial real estate industry, with broad experience in credit, origination, funding and servicing. Prior to joining Portage Capital Corporation, Julie has worked for both small private lending platforms and large institutional public companies. Most recently Julie held senior positions at Timbercreek Capital, which included the role of Managing Director, Global Credit. Julie is a graduate of University of Toronto, is a registered mortgage broker in both Ontario and B.C., and is fully bilingual (French/English).

Jade is the Manager, Funding and Administration at Portage Capital Corporation and has been working in the mortgage lending and financial industry for over 8 years. Prior to joining the team at Portage, Jade worked at Schedule 1 banks and most recently at one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders. Jade holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from York University, is a registered Mortgage Agent in Ontario, and is fully bilingual (English/French).

Megan is an Associate Director, Investments at Portage Capital Corporation and has four years of commercial real estate lending experience. Prior to joining Portage Capital, Megan worked at KingSett Capital where she was responsible for underwriting and conducting due diligence on construction and IPP loans across all major asset classes in Canada. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours, Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPEC).

Tom Little is an Analyst, Investments at Portage Capital Corporation and is a current CFA Level I candidate. Tom holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Economics and Finance from the University of Guelph.

Jesse is an Analyst, Investments at Portage Capital Corporation and has over 2 years of experience working with private companies across various industries including real estate, manufacturing, health care, and more. Prior to joining Portage Capital, Jesse was an Intermediate Accountant at EY Canada. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto and is currently a CPA student.
